  	Marion Wheeler Davis (August 11, 1927 - April 26, 2009) Mrs. Marion Wheeler Davis, 81, of Lake City died Monday, April 27, 2009 in the Haven Hospice of the Suwannee Valley following an extended illness. Mrs. Davis was born in Merritt Island, Florida, but spent most of her life in the Lake City area. She was the daughter of the late James & Martha Wheeler. Mrs. Davis will always be remembered as a great wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking. Mrs. Davis was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard A. Davis. Mrs. Davis is survived by two daughters, Helen McClung (Lamar) of Shiloh, Georgia and Claire Durrance (David) of Lake City,Florida; four grandchildren Jason McClung (Katrina), James David Price, Christen Bustillo (Mario), and Jessica Norris Purks (Michael) six great grandchildren, Kayleigh McClung, Kendyn Price, Ayden Bustillo, Jaiden Bustillo, Arienna Bustillo, and Madlyn Purks. Two loving nieces, Frankie Stalvey and Sue Kuebbeler also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 29, 2009 in the chapel of the Dees-Parrish Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
