Services will be 11A.M., Monday at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Burial in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Ted Staton will officiate. Mrs. Cochran a native of Thomaston was a proud military wife that traveled extensively throughout the world with her family. They relocated to Jacksonville, FL in 1979, and since retirement has made her home in Sparta for the past 3 years. She was a Realtor, and a member of the Lions Club, Historical Society of Hancock County, and Ladies of the Lake. She was the daughter of the late Needham Charles Wilkes and Mary Irene Fenley Wilkes. Survivors include her husband Larry C. Cochran of Sparta; one daughter Deidre Raumschuh and husband Michael of Kansas City; three sons, Jamie Thompson and wife Chris, Chuck Thompson and wife Tina both of Jacksonville, FL; John Cochran and wife Ashley of Atlanta; one sister Lila Wilkes Bryan and husband Emmett of Thomaston, and one brother Charles R. Wilkes and wife Kay of Callahan, FL; seven grandchildren; Brooke Scoggins, Shane Thompson, Brandon Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Matt Raumschuh, Mark Thompson, and Justin Fordham, and two great grandchildren Payton and Victoria.
