Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. Mr. Wilkes is survived by his wife, Louise Wilkes of the home; sons, Rusty Wilkes of Watkinsville, GA., and Michael Wilkes of Hillsborough; daughter, Susan Godwin of Tifton, GA.; brothers, Clyde Wilkes of Manning, SC., Billy Wilkes of Swansea, SC., and Robert Wilkes of St. Matthews, SC.; sister, Elizabeth Taylor of Manning, SC.; 6 grandchildren, Chad Wilkes of Athens, GA., Matthew Wilkes of Watkinsville, GA., Shane Godwin of Tifton, GA., Alicia Godwin of Tifton, GA., Bethany Wilkes and Molly Wilkes, both of Hillsborough. The family will receive friends 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Organ Fund, 218 S.
