- Mr. George Tyree Beasley, age 67 of Sanderson, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014.
Mr. Beasley was a lifelong resident of Baker County and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed tinkering on cars and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his sons: Michael (Christy) Beasley of Sanderson and Timmy Beasley; sisters: Arnell (Earl) Stafford of Glen St. Mary, Sarah (Don) Zarrella and Lettie (Mannie) Giddens, all of Sanderson; and grandchildren: Tyler, Brandon, Dawson, and Madyson.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Dewey and Beatrice Beasley and his son: Shawn Thornton.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Taylor Church, Sanderson, Florida with Pastor Jim Cox officiating.
Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 10:00am, Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Taylor Church.
