Deceased Name: MR. WILL SATURDAY
Mr. Will Saturday, beloved husband of the late H. Louise Saturday, entered into rest Thursday, March 1, 2007 at University Hospital.
Mr. Saturday was an electrician for Savannah Sugar Finery and was a member of North Salem Baptist Church but attended Mize Memorial United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Graveside services will be held at North Salem Baptist Church Cemetery on Hwy 30, Port Wentworth, Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Revered Fred Heard officiating.
Survivors include three daughters and son-in-laws, Barbara and Bud Scarsberry, Savannah, GA, Jerri Saturday, Vera Beach, FL and Linda and David Piper of Blythe, Ga.; one son and daughter-in-law, Reggie and Janis Saturday, Rincon, GA; sister, Mattie Caldwell; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2007 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or the Methodist Children's Home.
