  	KOGUT Funeral Services for Mrs. Brenda D. Kogut, 55, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Glendale Community Church with Pastor Chris B. Bullington of Grace Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. A lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Mrs. Kogut was born on December 3, 1952 and she passed away, surrounded by her family, on May 19, 2008. She graduated from the University of North Florida in 2005 with a degree in Musical Education. Brenda was most passionate about her faith in Jesus and her love of family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Mr. Stephen Barry Kogut; a daughter, Leah Joy Kogut; a son, Scott Barry (Linda) Kogut; her mother, Merle (George) Sweat; a sister, Debarah Peck; nephews, Michael Conley and Chris Peck; and many other family and friends. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2008. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial gifts in her name be made to the American Cancer Society, 1430 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
