Death	Margaret Dubas Milton: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice Florida Times-Union, The (Jacksonville, FL) - April 6, 2003 Deceased Name: Margaret Dubas Milton FL United States DUBAS Margaret (Milton) Dubas, passed away Friday April 4th, 2003. She was a native of Jasper, Florida, and was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Florence Milton and her husband of 51 years, Ben Dubas. Margaret graduated as a registered nurse at Pensacola Hospital in 1943; part of the first class of the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corp. Her professional career included being a nurse in the Maternity Department at the base hospital in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and as the Nursing Supervisor at the Soldiers and Sailors Home in Grand Island, Nebraska. When Margaret and her husband moved to Jacksonville, Florida, she was employed as the O.B. Supervisor at the old Duval Medical Center for several years. Margaret retired in 1968 after several years with the City of Jacksonville as a Public Health Nurse. Margaret is survived by her sons, Bill, Thomas (Melissa) and Richard; daughters, Elayne (Gary) and Patricia; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; sister, Doris Mitchell (Joe); brother, J.W. Milton (Novva); and lifelong friend Bessie Milton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on April 8th at 11:00 AM in St. Matthews Catholic Church with Father Luke McLoughlin as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Jacksonville Memory Gardens. The visitation will be held from 6 until 8 PM Monday, April 7th at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 5753 Blanding Blvd. A Rosary will be celebrated at the funeral home at 7:00 PM Monday as well. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the building fund of the Polish American Club (P.O. Box 14689, Jacksonville, FL 32238) or the Community Hospice of Northeast Florida (4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257).
