She was born in Atlanta, Kan., and lived in Bradenton for 13 years, coming from Vero Beach, where she was a longtime resident. Before retirement, she was a beautician for 10 years in Vero Beach. She was a member at the First Baptist Church in Vero Beach. Survivors include sons, Robert Lee Morrison of Sebastian and Kenneth Leon Nelson of Boynton Beach; daughter, Wanda Tillman of Bradenton; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Leon "Cotton" Nelson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tidwell Hospice at 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Oct. 6 followed by a funeral service at Aycock Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
