He was a native of Jacksonville, Fla. and had resided most of his life in Orange Park, Fla. He was son of the late William Holst and Catherine Lathell Hill Holst. He was the former owner of B & H Roofing Company in Orange Park. The survivors include three sisters, Deborah Williamson of Waycross, Natalie Merck (husband David) of Waycross, Nickie Schery (husband Shane) of Orange Park, Fla.; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Music Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in Jacksonville Memory Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday night from 6 until 8 o'clock.
