- Mrs. Rita Dell Johnson West, age 69, of Lumberton, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018. She was born on April 6, 1949 in Robeson County to the late Odell Johnson and the late Elga Leggett Johnson. She enjoyed being a homemaker to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, John Terry West, Sr. of the home; her children: John Terry West, Jr., Kay W. Allen and husband Tim, and Cheryl Lynn West, all of Lumberton; six grandchildren: Brittany McLamb and husband David, Ashton West and wife Melody, Meghan Allen, Madison Allen, Madelyn Britt, and Mallori Allen; five great-grandchildren: Abbey McLamb, Noah McLamb, Bentley West, Easton West, and Ryder McLamb; and one brother, Danny Johnson of Lumberton.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 18, 2018, from 6:00-7:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.
A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date.
