- Joan Annette Henault, 75, passed away at home on April 18, 2021, after a brave cancer battle. Her children were at her bedside.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles F. Henault Jr, her parents, 3 sisters, and a brother.
She is survived by her children, Charles F. Henault III (Barbara) and Denise Henault, her grandsons Robert Henault and Nicholas Henault, and one sister. She was Aunt Joan to many beloved nieces and nephews.
Joan was born in Pittsfield Massachusetts and moved to South Florida as a teenager, before settling in Alachua Fl in 1976. She and her husband ran their HVAC business together. She was a devout Catholic and the family were founding members of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Joan also was an avid bowler and ran the church league for many years. However, her most important role in her opinion was wife, mother, and grandma, her family was her world.
Service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 11:00 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Community.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Catholic charities adoption program. If you do send flowers, please consider contacting The Plant Shoppe Florist, as they know her favorites. Dress is casual.
