- Juanita G. Carver, 82, of Dowling Park, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2004, in Lake City Medical Center after a long illness. The Pinemount native moved to Dowling Park from Jacksonville in 1977, retired after 20 years as a claims adjuster with Prudential Life Insurance Company in Jacksonville and was a member of Bixler Memorial Church, Dowling Park.
Survivors include: two sons, Gary Carver, Wellborn and Clinton C. Carver, Jacksonville; two sisters, Loyce G. Harrell, Wellborn and Joyce McCall, Gainesville; two brothers, J. Howard Greene, Jacksonville and Ronnie Greene, O'Brien; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 9, at Bixler Memorial Chapel with the Rev. John Harper officiating. Interment followed in Bixler Memorial Gardens East, Dowling Park.
Daniels Funeral Home of Live Oak was in charge of all arrangements.
