  A Sweet Memory Added by colcicolonel (Alton Christie) on 7 Nov 2007 Alton Brian Christie was the first child of Alton P. and Eileen Christie.He was born prematurely at 6 1/2 months. He was born in the Lake Shore Hospital in Lake City, Columbia, Florida and immediately transferred to the University Hospital in Jacksonville, Duval, Florida due to complications. Brian had to have surgery to connect his duodenum to his stomach and did not recover from the surgery. His body was interred in the Hopewell Cemetery, in Northern Columbia County, FL. His parents never got to hold him and love him as he was gone from this life so shortly after arriving here. We can only imagine what could have been.
