- Mr. Jeffrey John Cason, 32, died Wednesday July 4, 2007, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A native and life-long resident of Bulloch County, Jeffrey was of the Primitive Baptist faith. He was a 1993 graduate of Statesboro High School and attended Georgia Southern University. Mr. Cason was self employed in the construction industry. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur James "Jimmy" Cason and his grandfather, James Abel Cason.
Surviving are: his mother and stepfather, Ann and David Jacobs of Statesboro; a brother and sister-in-law, Carlos James and Christine Cason of Atlanta; a sister, Sarah Rebecca Cason of Statesboro; his stepmother, Annette B. Cason of Statesboro; his grandmother, Ouida Cason of Statesboro; a nephew, Tyler Cason of Atlanta and a step brother, Mark Jacobs of Statesboro.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Elder John Scott officiating.
Interment will be in the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
