- Rev. Elizabeth Jane Crandall Maxwell
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Rev. Elizabeth Jane Crandall Maxwell, 93, died Sunday (8/16/09) at Britthaven of Bowling Green.
She was a native of Roseboro and daughter of the late Harry Crandall and Mary Duncan Crandall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Murdock Thurman Maxwell; a daughter, Edna Lane Frazier; brothers, Duncan, Joseph and Douglas Crandall; and a sister, Mary E. Watrous. She was a missionary in Hong Kong and a member of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by sons, Harold Maxwell and wife Margaret of Bowling Green, Ky. and Sherrill Douglas Maxwell and wife Janice of Phoenix, Ari.; a daughter, Marilyn D. Maxwell of Louisburg; a brother, Rev. Benjamin Crandall and wife Jean of Providence, R.I.; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
