Mr. Barber was a furniture craftsman.
Services: Funeral, 2 p.m. today in Yates-Thaggard Baptist Church.
Burial in Holly Grove Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.

Survived by: Wife, Gail; daughters, Tammy and Tara; sons, Al, Billy and Craig; mother, Eula Carpenter; sisters, Mae Hammond, Jean Whitt and Gale Baker; brothers, John, Ray, Joe and Fred; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
