Death	Fayetteville, Oct. 16. Edwin Julius Wells, 55, cotton broker and warehouse man died at his home here Monday night following a heart attack. He was widely known in this section. He was a deacon of the First Presbyterian Church, a member of the Kiwanis club and took a major interest in civic affairs. Mr. Wells is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mamie Highsmith Wells, a daughter, Mrs. William H. Corbett, of West Point, N.Y., a son, Pfc. Edwin J. Wells, Jr., a medical student in the University of Pennsylvania, two granddaughters, a brother, Harold Wells, of Wilmington, and a sister, Mrs. Charles H. Pritchard, of Sandersville, Ga.
