- WINOKUR -- Mack Crews, 64, died July 27, 2001 at home.
The Charlton County native was a heavy equipment operator, working in
construction for many years. He was an Army veteran. He had been a Nahunta
police officer the past 15 years. He was a member of Hoboken Church of God.
SURVIVORS: his wife of 41 years, Margie Faye Crews of Winokur; a son,
Marshall Crews of Nahunta; a sister, Eva Crews Horne of Nahunta; two
brothers, Waudell Crews of Nahunta and John E. Crews of Jacksonville, Fla. ;
nieces and nephews including Ronnie Crews of Nahunta; and other relatives.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. today at Chambless Funeral Home, Nahunta. Burial will be in
Bethlehem Cemetery.
